​Nordea Markets is a leading international capital markets operator and investment banking partner in the Nordic and Baltic Sea regions. They provide their customers with a complete portfolio of financial services and solutions, including market research from their unequalled team of experts.​

We have worked with Nordea Markets' own teams to improve and develop their online trading and markets research platform, which provides their customers with essential markets insights as well as trading functionality. The platform includes financial forecasts, financial research, quotes on more than half a million financial instruments, real-time overview of recently executed FX trades, trade overview and much more.

Our role has been to help Nordea Markets on both strategic and operational levels, and our responsibilities include user experience mapping, concept development, customer surveys and testing, internal workshops, design, and documentation.

The Wholesale Banking CRM platform services 1,500 of the Wholesale Banking employees. The main purpose is to provide an overview of customer data and support the users in their daily tasks when servicing the largest corporate and institutional customers in the Nordics.

We have been working with the Customer Relationship Management team to conduct user research and set business priorities for the conceptual development of their platform. The research has included a four-month user research study, development of personas, visualisation of business processes, and workshop facilitation including a four-day design sprint. 

Our role has been to help Nordea on a strategic level by creating user and business insights for the development team and turn these insights into a long-term CRM concepts. And our responsibilities have included closing the gap between business and IT, and increasing transparency of business requirements.
