Matas is the biggest beauty and health supplements chain store in Denmark, with more than 280 physical stores, a well-assorted online shop as well as Denmark's most comprehensive loyalty programme, Club Matas.
In 2015 Matas was transforming from a traditional retail strategy to an omni channel strategy and as part of this transformation they redesigned their website to become the solid ecommerce platform that they have today. We were hired to assist with UX expertise in the process of developing a high quality online shop based on UX best practice, updated technology, design and data insights. Since the launch of the new platform, Matas have accelerated their turnover on online sales year-by-year and their shop is one of the top performing ecommerce businesses in Denmark.
